The 28th Annual Quinte Business Achievement Awards (QBAA) took place at the National Air Force Museum in Quinte West on the evening of Friday, October 25, 2024. The event celebrated the region’s businesses, entrepreneurs, and organizations, recognizing excellence across 17 award categories.
The QBAA, now in its 28th year, recognized 136 nominees who completed the nomination process, with winners selected for their contributions to making the Bay of Quinte Region one of the best places to live and work. The Business Achievement Awards continue to honour those who exemplify business excellence, innovation, and community spirit. Over the years, the event has expanded its recognition to include businesses of all sizes across a wide range of sectors, while remaining true to its original mission: to celebrate the success and growth of local businesses.
This year’s ceremony held special significance as it was dedicated to the Royal Canadian Air Force (RCAF) in honour of their 100th anniversary, acknowledging their deep and historic ties to the Bay of Quinte Region and the impact 8 Wing has made to our business community. “The Royal Canadian Air Force has played an integral role in shaping the culture and economy of our region,” said Suzanne Andrews, CEO of the Quinte West Chamber of Commerce. “As we celebrate the centennial of the RCAF, it’s fitting that we dedicate this year’s awards to their legacy and the longstanding partnership between the military and business communities.” Belleville Chamber CEO, Jill Raycroft congratulates all of the nominees stating "It is important for every single one to remember that someone in the community put your name forward because their experience with you, your business or product and service met a standard of service that prompted them to see you on this list."
