Minimum Wage is the lowest wage rate an employer can pay an employee.  The minimum wage rates in Ontario will increase on October 1, 2020. 

The general minimum wage will increase from $14.00 per hour to $14.25.   The student minimum wage increases to $13.40 from $13.15, and the liquor servers wage increases to $12.45 from $12.20 

The previous minimum wage increase was implemented in Ontario on January 1, 2018.
