Belleville ramps up transit service

This Monday (June 15) the second phase of the Belleville Transit service recovery plan will begin. The most recent openings permitted by the Provincial Government will require more access to public transit for the residents of the City of Belleville.

Phase 2 will accommodate access to the increased availability of shopping.  The service will continue to be a modified, reduced schedule but will now operate a reduced scheduled service for weekends as well as weekdays.

“We are working hard to balance the transportation needs of our community with our commitment to keeping residents and our drivers safe during the COVID-19 virus,” said Paul Buck, Manager, Transit Services. “We appreciate your understanding regarding the necessary protocols at this time and please know that we are doing our very best to get you safely where you need to go.”

Phase 2 changes that will be in effect on Monday:
