Ontario Chamber sends recommendations to province on reopening
In a letter to Premier Ford, dated May 19, 2021, the Ontario Chamber network urges the Province to develop a clear and consistent reopening roadmap for business and residents to follow.
- A clear and transparent roadmap with evidence-based metrics, including the threshold for daily COVID-19 cases
- Safe and equitable operating guidelines, advising business owners on how to protect staff and clients from COVID-19 exposure.
- Rapid testing to accompany vaccination deployment
- Smart travel policies
"As business and community leaders, the chamber network stands ready to work with the province to ensure a safe, transparent and sustainable re-opening that avoids another spike in cases and prolonged public health restrictions."
