Meet Our Members:
Be Prepared First Aid Training has been a member of the Belleville Chamber of Commerce since 2012, when the business first opened, and has grown year after year, opening a downtown location in 2018.
Meet Emma Travis, owner of Be Prepared. Emma grew up in Foxboro, and as the daughter of entrepreneurs, her work ethic was bred in the bone. “I watched my parents work hard in their own business (Changing Times Bookstore), and am still learning from them as they build their brand as the only producers of haskaps in the area. If you don’t know what that is, check out Emma’s parents farm ‘Palliser Downs’ facebook page. With the help of Emma’s husband, and her four children (aged 5 to 20), she stays optimistic, and in her words “will always see the silver lining, the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow, and the light at the end of the tunnel”.
Be Prepared is a first aid training service, delivering training from The Canadian Red Cross, The Heart & Stroke Foundation and SOS for Kids.
