It certainly feels as though Summer is over and whether you use the season to relax during a slower time or you’re going 24/7 while the sun shines – Fall always seems to brings a sense of routine back. Meeting schedules are circulating and while January may be a time for new year resolutions, the real planning for the year seems to start in September.
Lots of dates coming up – exciting things are happening (we’re pretty pumped about Rogers Hometown Hockey choosing Belleville as one of their 24 locations this year) – and of course, we have mingles, breakfasts, Business Week, etc all coming up in the next few weeks. If you haven’t had a chance to like or follow us on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram – we use social media regularly to remind people of upcoming events and our activities in the community.
But now – this is the last weekend of the summer – I have family from France to Alberta visiting as we celebrate my father’s 70th birthday and then we take our oldest off to the next milestone adventure as he enters post-secondary education – so I wish you all the best for Labour Day and I’ll see you in the trenches next week!
