Golf Tournament was a huge success
The Belleville Chamber of Commerce held its 53rd Annual Golf Tournament, in partnership with, for the second consecutive year, Gleaners Food Bank in Belleville on Friday, September 6th, 2024 at Trillium Wood Golf Club, with presenting sponsor, Elexicon Energy.
We had a SOLD OUT tournament with 144 golfers as of the August long weekend, but due to some health reasons, we had a few cancellations, and ended up with 138 people on the links.
Despite the off-and-on rain throughout the day, spirits remained high as the golf course buzzed with activity. Tents, snacks, and beverages

New President of Canadian Chamber named
Candace Laing will become the new President and CEO of the Canadian Chamber of Commerce, Canada’s largest business network, on September 1.
Born and raised in Saskatchewan, where her family maintains a longstanding farming operation, Ms. Laing brings her experience as a senior executive with more than two decades of experience with both the private and public sectors.

Taylor Russett, a 24-year-old entrepreneur, has embarked on a new journey by
taking over the reins of Lafferty’s, a staple menswear shop with a 47-year legacy. With a
background that includes founding a successful wedding photography company at the age of 17
and later establishing the acclaimed Grind and Vine café and wine bar, Russett brings a fresh
