Dr. Vera Voroskolevska opened Restore Balance Psychological and Counselling Services in Belleville just before the pandemic took hold in February. This allowed her to see just one client in-person before having to move everything online. Over the last few months, she's had the opportunity to watch the true strength of Belleville shine. A reminder of why she chose to open her doors here.
Dr. Vera holds a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Fielding University, a Masters in Social work from the University of Windsor, a BA in Psychology from York University and a diploma in Developmental Services from Humber College. In addition to running her own practice, Dr. Vera is an adjunct professor at Trent University and Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College.
Dr. Vera specializes in psychological assessments, including fitness for work/return to work, substance use, workplace accidents (WSIB), pscyho-educational (ADHD, giftedness, learning disabilities, etc) and more. No stranger to danger, Dr. Vera is also well equipped to help individuals and organizations during disaster response efforts. Her team at Restore Balance is well equipped to treat a number of mental health issues, including: anxiety, depression, substance use, mood disorders, PTSD, trauma, youth and teenage concerns and more.
Dr. Vera is particularly passionate about "helping those who help others" including teachers, healthcare providers and first responders.

What Restore Balance Does:
Sometimes life isn't easy. Sometimes, every day is a struggle that we aim to simply survive. That's when a social worker, psychotherapist or psychologist (like us) can help restore balance in your life, so that you don't just survive each day, you can embrace and enjoy it.
The ability to manage stress and anxiety is more important than ever. Properly managing stress and anxiety is also one of the best ways to prevent a mental health issue from occurring.
To help Chamber member organizations and their employees, Restore Balance is offering a 90 minute workshop on how to manage stress and anxiety in the workplace for $99. Contact them now!
