Chamber News

November is Financial Literacy Month, and with this in mind, Quinte First Credit Union/Alterna Savings is hoping to support our community partners by hosting a series of webinars (1/2 hour per week) for colleagues and their elementary school-aged children/grandchildren.
Throughout this workshop series, they will be talking about a variety of financial topics and completing fun and engaging resources about all-things financial literacy. Their aim is to start an "Unscary" conversation about money.
Tuesday, November 3rd (4:00 - 4:30 pm): What is a Credit Union?
Tuesday, November 10th (4:00 - 4:30 pm): Opening an Account
Tuesday, November 17th (4:00 - 4:30 pm): Saving for Your Future
Tuesday, November 24th (4:00 - 4:30 pm): Creating a Budget
You can register for all of the webinars throughout November with the link below. QFCY/AS will follow up with an invitation to attend the Zoom sessions one day in advance of the upcoming workshops.
