Congratulations to The Hampton Inn & Suites by Hilton who finally, after 2 ½ years, were able to celebrate their official ribbon cutting and grand opening. Having opened in August of 2020, the opportunity for a grand opening was postponed – until now.
Owners, Bobby and Susan Bhopal, along with General Manager Blair Gamble welcomed local dignitaries and guests on Wednesday, April 12th.
On hand for the celebration was Mayor Ellis with councillors Garnet Thompson and Lisa Anne Chatten, MPP Smith, Ingrid Moore representing MP Williams and Belleville Chamber President, Dale Hoard.
Bhopal sang the praises of his management team who had successfully navigated the challenges of opening during COVID restrictions.
Immediately following the ribbon-cutting ceremony, the owners welcomed more than eighty Chamber members to the hotel for a ‘Member Mingle’. Guests were treated to samples from Chamber member, Meyers Creek Brewing Co., tasty refreshments, and tours of the facility.
Paula Moore from The Belleville Club was thrilled to win the 2-night stay in a suite at the Hampton Inn. Other draw winners were Sarah Rozema-Seaton from Big Red Bow Marketing, one of our newest members, and Danielle Firth from Linguine's.
