The City of Belleville has been advised by our vendor that Voter Information Letters (VILs) have been provided to Canada Post and are now being distributed. We anticipate that this will result in eligible voters receiving them as soon as today.
Any eligible voters who do not receive their VIL by Oct. 11 are urged to visit City Hall during regular business hours and/or one of the two Voting Assistance Centres during the hours below to be added to the Voters’ List.
Hours of operation:
- City Hall – Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
- Voting Assistance Centres (Quinte Sports & Wellness Centre and Gerry Masterson Community Centre) – Oct. 18, 19, 21 and 22 from noon to 6 p.m., and Oct. 24 from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
All additions to the Voters’ List must be completed in-person with identification showing the individual’s name and qualifying address. For more information, please visit our website or contact the City Clerk’s office at 613-968-6481.
