Update from local health unit

COVID-19 Update

Today, many areas of the province, including Hastings and Prince Edward Counties, enter Stage 2 of reopening.

Social gatherings of up to 10 individuals will be permitted, as long as physical distancing is maintained. While this next step is exciting, it is important that residents and visitors continue to follow precautions to keep us all healthy and safe.

The best ways to stop the spread of COVID-19 remain to stay home if ill, keep at least 2 metres away from others, wear a face covering when this is not possible, wash your hands frequently and thoroughly, and avoid touching your face. Moving into Stage 2 will provide more businesses and services the opportunity to reopen, with appropriate health and safety measures in place. Please review our recent media release for more details.

COVID-19 testing is available to anyone who is concerned they may have been exposed to the virus.
