Are you concerned about traffic in Belleville?

The City of Belleville’s Engineering and Development Services department is now seeking residents’ input on traffic calming measures throughout the city.

During their July 27, 2020 meeting, Belleville City Council approved a Traffic Calming Policy aimed at implementing traffic calming measures in 2021. The first step of implementation is having residents submit requests for any roadways of concern to be considered for the project.

Residents who would like to have their street considered for traffic calming are asked to complete the online form. Each request will be reviewed in accordance with the City’s Traffic Calming Policy.

A copy of this policy can be made available by emailing construction@belleville.ca.

The request deadline for consideration is March 31, 2021.
